A Community for Destiel Content, Links, Conversation
Hey guys. I'm Reg, or the Dogsled on tumblr. You might know me from over there, but probably not, as I only gave up on Dreamwidth to go to tumblr last year. I've set up this community and its sister comms destielfic and destielart as places for fandom to move into now that all is going to hell over on tumblr. I have some moderator experience in RP games before, and I come from LJ fandom so I have a fair idea of how these things work, but if fandom does move here I will inevitably be looking for more content moderators in the future.
I wholeheartedly recommend Dreamwidth as the solution to our problems. This site has never let me down. It knows what fandom needs and it has never condescended to us. It's a sex positive place, too, but the community here is very good about marking NSFW as 18+. You'd be surprised, actually, just how good.
It might be a bit of a culture shock, but I hope you will consider making it your future blogging platform. This place can handle the increased traffic, and has servers in place to adequately protect your content. It's been here for more than ten years and nobody has sold it to Yahoo, either. Like I say, it's never let me down. Please consider making it your home!
